‘I find it hard to understand why people don’t like 11. I didn’t think I would like him at first either, but in episodes like Closing Time/TWORS, there are desperate moments where you can see his age in his eyes, despite his youthful appearance. I think it must be hardest for the Doctor when he looks young, yet feels old. He’s so alone in the world, and no one else can see or understand everything that he has been through. I think too many base their favourite off of looks rather than personality.’
